Comments sought on local government self-insurance health and welfare program rules update
The Department of Enterprise Services (DES), which oversees the state's self-insurance pool, is updating rules in WAC-200-110 to align with statutory changes placing health insurance for school employees under the oversight of the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB). DES is also updating rules to reflect recent changes to standards addressing solvency and independent audit requirements.
