2026 Governor’s Budget Webinar
The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is hosting a webinar from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, to discuss the agency's 2026 budget investments.
Join the webinar to hear about DCYF's investments in the Governor’s budget and learn about proposed funding levels for DCYF, including our 2026 Legislative session requests. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions.

Passion to Action (P2A)
P2A is a DCYF advisory board consisting of young people who are currently or have previously been in foster care. P2A collaborates with DCYF to contribute and inform policies, programs, and projects. Their lived expertise drives innovation and helps strengthens efforts to better support children and youth in care.
Meetings are closed to the public. Passion to Action is currently recruiting new members ages 18–24 who have lived experience in the foster care system. For information on how to join, please contact Peggy Lewis at peggy.lewis@dcyf.wa.gov.

State Interagency Coordinating Council (SICC)
SICC coordinates and fosters the development of a comprehensive statewide system of accessible local early intervention services for children birth to age 3 who have disabilities or are at risk for developing disabilities. SICC coordinates the transition of these children into programs for 3- to 6-year-olds.
