Foster Care Negotiated Rule Making (FC NRM) Updates

As we celebrate this season of gratitude, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the amazing caregivers who joined us in the negotiated rulemaking process. Your voices, insights, and dedication have been essential in shaping the draft of WAC Chapter 110-148. We deeply value the time you’ve given and the thoughtful input you’ve shared.

Caregivers have played a vital role every step of the way, helping guide meaningful changes that reflect real experiences and needs. We’re excited to continue this collaboration and look forward to welcoming even more caregiver participation during the public comment period in early 2026.

If you have general questions, contact the Foster Care NRM team at dcyf.fostercarenrm@dcyf.wa.gov, or you can check out the website for the latest project updates.

Changing your category or profile type

Anyone can change the category of their profile at any time. You can also switch between profile types very easily by selecting the profile type, saving, and then searching the course catalog. Then repeat, go back to your profile, change the profile type, save, then search the course catalog.
