DCYF is excited to announce the launch of the revised Monitor Visit Checklist. Beginning Nov. 3, this revised checklist will be used for all monitoring visits.
Per the federal requirements, providers operating on a full, non-expiring license must have an unannounced monitor visit within the state fiscal year.
Providers can expect a leaner checklist, and one that prioritizes children’s health and safety and meets state and federal requirements. It will focus more on collaborative compliance and human-centered technical assistance.
DCYF’s updates to the checklist are informed by years of feedback received from providers like you. We heard clearly that you wanted a streamlined checklist that allows more time for collaborative conversations and strengths-based solutions.
The best part is these updates require nothing for providers to do. Beginning Nov. 3, providers can access examples of the revised checklist in the Provider Portal.

DCYF se complace en anunciar que el 3 de noviembre lanzaremos la nueva lista revisada de visitas de control. A partir de esa fecha, esta lista se usará en todas las visitas.
Según los requisitos federales, los proveedores que tengan una licencia completa y vigente deben recibir una visita sin previo aviso durante el año fiscal del estado.
