For a limited time, ESIT is funding opportunities for ESIT agencies to receive agency wide PFR Level 1 training, agency wide PFR Booster sessions, or a 90-minute consultation with a PFR trainer. These opportunities are available directly to your agency to train your full staff, at no cost to you. Both virtual and in-person options are available for PFR Level 1 and PFR Booster trainings. If training is in-person, the agency must provide the space for the training. For virtual training, depending on number of attendees per agency, multiple agencies may be combined.

Completing this application does not guarantee that you will receive the training, but we will try our best to accommodate as many requests as funding and scheduling allows.
PFR Level 1 Training
This training is a 14-hour workshop focused on foundational knowledge in attachment theory and promoting secure caregiver-child relationships, development of self for infants through preschoolers, understanding and intervening with challenging behaviors, building caregiver reflective capacity, and use of PFR consultation strategies. This training opportunity is perfect for agencies who have no PFR trained staff or to train any remaining providers without PFR, so the agency’s entire staff of providers have shared understanding of PFR.

PFR Booster Training
PFR booster sessions are offered for providers who have participated in PFR level 1 or 2 training. The goal of these sessions is to support the ESIT Service Provider’s confidence in using the PFR consultation strategies and understand how PFR can enhance ESIT services. If possible, an ESIT multidisciplinary peer panel will share their stories and experiences of using PFR in their practice.

PFR Consultation
This opportunity is a 90-minute individualized PFR consultation for ESIT agencies. Agencies will schedule directly with the PFR trainer to determine scheduling. This consultation opportunity is for ESIT agencies, with or without prior PFR training, that are seeking the following types of support:
- Groups of providers who are interested in exploring how they can embed the PFR consultation strategies into their everyday practice.
- Leadership at organizations who would like more information about PFR practice and training.
