Ending the Pipeline to Incarceration: Equity for Youth in Foster Care

We are honored to invite you to join us for Ending the Pipeline to Incarceration: Equity for Youth in Foster Care, an event presented by the Lived Expert Council in partnership with Treehouse.

In 2022, Treehouse launched an initiative to disrupt the foster care-to-prison pipeline with new investments in systems change and policy reform, as well as directly serving incarcerated youth who have experienced foster care, in partnership with the Washington Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) and the Raikes Foundation. The council will present the findings of their research and recommendations at this event and will lead a solutions-focused community dialogue.

When: Thursday, Oct. 19 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Where: The 2100 Building, 2100 24th Avenue S, Seattle, WA

Please RSVP by Oct. 10, 2023! Visit Ending the Pipeline to Incarceration (treehouseforkids.org).

Questions? Reach out to Fred Kingston, Director of Policy, at Fred.Kingston@Treehouseforkids.org.
