ACORN Launch Date and DMS Blackout Dates
ACORN’s projected launch date is November 1! Once we go live, we will be entering all data in the ACORN user interface. Prior to our go-live date, we will integrate our DMS data with ACORN. This is a process that takes a little time for data migration and testing, and we will need to halt all data entry to the DMS prior to migrating our database.
2023 ACORN Timeline
The DMS Blackout is scheduled from Oct 27 until we go live on November 1. This means that users will no longer have access to the ESIT DMS after October 26. We encourage all our providers to complete data entry into the DMS in the weeks leading up to the blackout. All data entered in the DMS will be moved to ACORN and you will have access to your caseload in ACORN beginning November.
Questions, Feedback & Suggestions Welcomed
We continue to remain committed to a smooth transition from the ESIT DMS to ACORN. As always, we welcome questions, feedback and suggestions. Please contact the ESIT Data Systems and Analysis Manager, Kim Hopkins, at kim.hopkins@dcyf.wa.gov.
