Early Learning Facilities grant application workshop: The Washington State Department of Commerce, in partnership with the Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families, is hosting a workshop on the application and funding process for the state Early Learning Facilities grant program. The Early Learning Facilities program provides funding to early learning and child care providers to expand facilities or purchase new facilities, creating more Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) and Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) slots. Washington State Department of Corrections is Providing Trauma-Informed Training. “One of our core values is centered around respectful and inclusive interactions. Visitation staff, in particular, are tasked with facilitating interactions between individuals and their loved ones, which can be emotionally challenging. Through this project, we are able to provide perinatal mental health consultation and support to WA state organizations who would like to improve or implement perinatal mental health programming.
