Group Care Background Check Updates

Group Care Providers,

DCYF is excited to announce that the Background Check Unit (BCU) has further streamlined the Group Care background check process. There is a new Background Check Form that will need to be filled out when sending in the background request that is specific to group care providers. We have also changed some internal process flow that should provide some additional relief for turnaround time. In the near future we will schedule a zoom call to provide direct Questions and Answers with BCU staff. We hope to start using the Form on April 1, 2023 but it will be gradually phased in. BCU will continue to accept the old version as we continue to implement the change.
