Dates: March 24, 4 p.m. – March 26, 1 p.m.
Location: Wenatchee Conference Center and Coast Hotel
This event is for partners from Bremerton, Ferry/Stevens, Spokane, and Sequim/Port Angeles.
Activities: We’ll talk about supporting communities and families with trauma through Healing-Centered Engagement and perspectives on story-telling and self-care from Donell Barlow; we’ll be facilitated by our University of Kansas partners to explore family stories with Sensemaking, we’ll learn about the Power of Ease Keys to promote self- and co-regulation, and we’ll have a Community Café and Kid’s Café to explore ways to build health for families and communities.
Children’s activities: crafts, games, movies, and a Kid Café with opportunities for kids to think and share about health in their communities. Caregivers will be supported to accompany children and dependents as needed.
Registration deadlines: 3/1 (early bird for flight, hotel, and children’s activities reservations); 3/16 (late registrants may not have space at Coast Hotel and can be reimbursed for lodging at per diem rates); Travel, food and accommodations reimbursed for Strengthen Families Locally partners.
