Dear Child Care and Early Learning Providers,

In response to Gov. Inslee's recent proclamation, which requires most child care and early learning providers to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 18, 2021, the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) released a COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement FAQ for Child Care, Early Learning, and Youth Development Providers.

The FAQ will help answer many questions that you may have regarding the vaccine requirement, vaccine verification, and medical or religious exemptions.

The FAQ is currently available online in English, with Spanish and Somali versions coming soon. We will send those when they become available.
