DCYF Dual-Language Non-Perm System Navigators (MA3)

Olympia |$4,398.00 - $5,772.00 Monthly | Closing 9/7/2021

  • These are project positions expected to last up to June 30, 2023.
  • These positions require written and verbal fluency in English and Spanish or Somali.
  • Salary listed does not include the 5% increase for the dual-language requirement.

We're looking for a System Navigators (MA3) to join our team of System Navigators and provide support and technical assistance to providers navigating DCYF programs, working toward the common goal of eliminating child and youth outcome disparities based on race and ethnicity.

The Opportunity:
As a Professional Development Systems Navigator, your main focus is to provide comprehensive support services to the workforce on behalf of DCYF programs. This individual is primarily focused on providing one-on-one assistance related to and guiding the navigation of DCYF programs, policies, and systems.

Navigation services are provided in the primary language of the requestor, and may be provided by phone, email, or technology to provide quality assistance and support. The Navigator will contribute to long-term planning, and inform the development and management of provider supports for DCYF systems.
 
Some of what you will get to do:

  • Implement program policy for internal and external providers and stakeholders regarding state, and federal guidelines, and clarification about interconnection with professional development policies and procedures.
  • Implement procedure, tools and processes to DCYF systems and recommend changes to program policies.
  • Anticipate potential conflict and programmatic barriers and attempts to provide direction and resolution before problems occur.
