We're looking for a Professional Development Specialist (MA3) to join our team and manage early learning professional development efforts, working toward the common goal of eliminating child and youth outcome disparities based on race and ethnicity.
As a Professional Development Specialist, your main focus is to lead the professional development activities and implementation strategies to support child care providers regarding business records and practices. Some of what you will be doing:
- Oversee the professional development process and adult learning strategies related to business records and practices, including design and implementation to guide provider adherence to federal and state rules.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for professional development efforts with a focus on provider records and billing. This includes the Electronic Attendance program, Subsidy Billing Training, and other areas that interface with DCYF professional development system or the workforce registry, MERIT.
- Inform learning strategies and registry functions associated with provider records, including electronic attendance and subsidy billing training.
- Create and implement strategies for professional development adherence of the electronic attendance and the subsidy billing training requirements of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA), or other state or federally related needs.
