An Important Message From the Social Service Payment System (SSPS)
Dear Providers,
The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is seeing a significant delay in the delivery of items sent through the U.S. Postal Service. This includes invoices, payments and other correspondence. Mail is sent at the earliest possible date and we are unable to affect the delivery timeline.
The good news is: there is an option!
The SSPS Provider Portal is available for you to view, print and claim your invoices online. You should have received a welcome letter for the portal after your first authorization for care was entered.
If you no longer have the letter, or if the security token on the letter has expired, please email dshs_sspsmail@dshs.wa.gov to request a security token and registration instructions.
From the portal, you can find the forms needed to register for direct deposit so that payments can be transferred to your financial institution and it can skip the mailing process. Once the forms are received, it takes 4-6 weeks for direct deposit to become active.
If you are unable to register for the portal, the direct deposit forms and the instructions for completing and submitting them can be found online at https://ofm.wa.gov/it-systems/accounting-systems/statewide-vendorpayee-services/vendorpayee-direct-deposit.
