Child Care COVID-19 Grants

Good news! The Child Care COVID-19 Grant application opens tomorrow, Friday, May 15, at 11 a.m.

To access the grant, log into the WA Compass Provider Portal to answer a few informational questions and agree to keep offering child care through July 31, 2020.

Non-English speaking providers may submit a translated application form by email (this is the preferred method) or by U.S. Postal Service. The application is translated into Somali and Spanish and are both available in the Provider Portal and also on the DCYF website at https://www.dcyf.wa.gov/coronavirus-covid-19/early-learning

Funds are available in three amounts and are based on licensed capacity as follows:

  • $6,500 for small (0-49) and open providers
  • $11,500 for medium (50-99) and open providers
  • $14,000 for large (100+) and open providers
