New Online Child Care Basics

ccb NOW ONLINE

Child Care Basics (CCB) will soon be offered online on the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) Training Portal.

CCB is the initial training requirement for educators working in licensed child care facilities.

What You Need to Know

  • Available summer 2020.
  • Available in English and Spanish.
  • On DCYF’s Training Portal with activities and discussions.
  • Other CCB options will still be available and can be found in the 'Find Training' section in MERIT.

CCB Trainers

This change does not affect high school instructors, higher education providers and trainers who provide in-person CCB.
