Dear Providers,

We want to start by thanking you for all the work you are doing to keep our youth safe and healthy during the COVID-19 crisis. We know you do this every day but understand the added stress your staff and agency are experiencing due to the COVID-19 crisis. We appreciate our partnership and we appreciate you. THANK YOU!

Licensing Support

DCYF established a 24-hour hotline that connects folks to the DCYF Licensing Division Support Team for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic-related questions or concerns. This hotline is meant to be utilized in the case where you cannot reach your licensor during normal operating business hours:

  • Toll Free (844) 792-7018
  • Local (360) 407-1642

A licensing support team has been established. This team will triage with regional, HQ contracts and program staff as needed. This includes any licensing waivers granted to contracted providers.

Program Support

To assist DCYF contracted providers, we have temporarily updated contract requirements to provide as much flexibility as possible during the COVID -19 crisis. Some of the flexibility includes: limiting travel and face-to-face appointments (video conferencing when possible), reduction in staff to child and staff qualifications and training to minimum licensing standards if needed. On top of the increased flexibility, some services have been suspended. This includes performance outcome accountability during the COVID-19 crisis. Although services may be reduced, DCYF is not reducing contracted rates. If you are providing a placement service to a DCYF child, you will receive the normal contracted service rate. Contractors will be notified soon of how to review and agree to the updates to the contract.

If you are contracted with DCYF and need program or contract guidance, here is a list of contacts by region. If you are unable to reach your regional or headquarters staff during business hours or the concern is outside of business hours, you may contact DCYF intake for assistance. We also have established a website for you with resources and a growing list of FAQs which archives questions that have come to DCYF from the community and group care providers. You can locate that website here.
