Foundational Quality Standards for Early Learning Programs (WAC Chapter 110-300) Guidebook Available in Somali and Spanish
In December 2018, the Foundational Quality Standards for Early Learning Programs Guidebook was posted in English on the DCYF Events and Learning Opportunities website.
We are pleased to announce that the guidebook is now translated in both Somali and Spanish:
There are four sections to the guidebook: alignment overview, education overview, communication overview, and resources. The guidebook contains resources, supportive documents, and tools aimed to help all audiences in preparation for the transition to WAC Chapter 110-300 implementation in August 2019.
Please note: this guidebook is not a replacement for the Interpretive Guidebook, but is another resource for providers, stakeholders, community partners, and the Department of Children, Youth, and Families staff. Work on the Interpretive Guidebook will begin this fall and you will hear more about this in the near future.

Guía Foundational Quality Standards for Early Learning Programs (Capítulo 110-300 del WAC) disponible en somalí y español
En diciembre de 2018, la guía Foundational Quality Standards for Early Learning Programs fue publicada en inglés en la página de eventos y oportunidades de aprendizaje del Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF, Departamento de Niños, Jóvenes y Familias).
Nos enorgullece anunciar que la guía ahora se encuentra en somalí y español:
La guía consta de cuatro secciones: descripción de la alineación, descripción de la formación, descripción de la comunicación y recursos. La guía contiene recursos, documentos de apoyo y herramientas destinadas a ayudar a todas las audiencias en la preparación para la transición a la implementación del Capítulo 110-300 del Washington Administrative Code (WAC, Código Administrativo de Washington) en agosto de 2019.
Tenga en cuenta lo siguiente: esta guía no reemplaza la Interpretive Guidebook, sino que es otro recurso para proveedores, partes interesadas, socios de la comunidad y el personal del DCYF.
