WISAARD ALERT - Google Chrome/Microsoft Edge Bug

Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge Browser Updates (released 8/22/2024) Causing WISAARD Map to Turn White

WISAARD users who have installed the latest browser updates or enabled automatic updates within their browsers for Google Chrome (v. 128.0.6613.85) and Microsoft Edge (v. 128.0.2739.42) are experiencing issues with the WISAARD 'Map' turning white after using the 'Find address or place' search tool.

This is a recorded Java Script issue with Esri (i.e., error) and DAHP developers are actively working to resolve the problem withing WISAARD.

As of this date and time, DAHP has no remediation timeline, but will keep you in the loop with future GovDelivery updates.

In the meantime, please use the following temporary workaround options until a resolution becomes available:

Avoid using WISAARD’s ’Find address or place' search tool within the 'Map' tab by manually zooming into your area of interest (i.e., use the + and – zoom tools).
Uninstall the latest browser updates and use an older version of Google Chrome/Microsoft Edge.
Use Firefox when navigating the map tab.
