Give input on the Swift Green Line Extension station locations by Nov. 10

The Swift network continues to grow, this time with Swift Green Line extending through Bothell. The Swift Green Line Extension will add up to six additional pairs of stations between Canyon Park, downtown Bothell, and UW Bothell/Cascadia College. The project creates connections along Bothell Way NE and NE 185th St, connecting to Sound Transit’s Stride S3 line.

Visit our online open house to learn more details about the  project, where the proposed stations are located, and how you can take the survey and use our interactive map to give feedback.

Shape the future of transit in Snohomish County by giving your input

Big changes are coming to transit in our region. From connecting to light rail to reimagining our bus service to expanding our Swift bus rapid transit network, Community Transit is a big part of that change.

You can help shape the future of transit by giving your input:

  • Learn about the draft Journey 2050 Long Range Plan and take our survey by Nov. 2: The long range plan will guide Community Transit’s vision and long-term priorities for 2025-2050. Whether you’re catching Swift bus rapid transit, hopping on a regular bus to transfer to light rail, or trying out innovative services, Journey 2050 will help you get from where you are to where you want to be.
  • How do you want to hear from Community Transit about service changes? Take the survey by Nov. 3 for a chance to win $200! Major changes to bus routes are coming in 2024 to get ready for Link light rail. Some of those changes could affect your bus. There will be a lot of information to share, and Community Transit wants to know how to get that information to you! You can also participate in a focus group. Learn more and sign up here.
  • Join CT’s Community Voice to give input on improving CT services: Community Voice is a voluntary panel of local residents who help CT understand the needs of community members. Every few months, Community Voice participants will be invited to complete a brief online survey about an important topic. Participants will then be entered into a sweepstakes with a chance to win one of two $100 gift cards. Sign up today!

About Swift Bus Rapid Transit

Community Transit is expanding its Swift bus rapid transit (BRT) network with additional lines connecting the area.

Swift Blue Line connects Everett to the Aurora Village Transit Center in Shoreline. This line will extend from the Aurora Village Transit Center to the Shoreline 185th Link light rail station when light rail opens.

Swift Green Line connects the Seaway Transit Center in Everett and Canyon Park Park & Ride in Bothell. This line will extend from Canyon Park Park & Ride to UW Bothell.

Swift Green line Extension will add up to six additional pairs of stations between Canyon Park, downtown Bothell, and UW Bothell/Cascadia College.

Swift Orange Line will connect south Snohomish County to the region’s high-capacity transit network when Sound Transit’s Link light rail extends to Lynnwood. Construction began in May 2022. Swift Orange Line service is scheduled to start in 2024.

Swift Gold Line will connect downtown Everett, downtown Marysville, and Arlington. We are in the early stages of planning the project. More details about the timeline and community engagement coming soon!

During construction, we will occasionally send out email updates to share updates about construction, upcoming traffic impacts, and more information about the projects. See more details at Community Transit Swift BRT.
