Ride Transit Month

June is Ride Transit Month

Take the pledge to show your support for public transportation by riding transit three times during June – it's quick, easy, and enters you to win Amazon gift cards!  Whether you are a regular rider, or just getting started, you deserve to get rewarded.

After you take the pledge, challenge yourself by taking even more trips by transit. Log your transit trips during June at RideshareOnline.com to be entered to win prizes.

It's as easy as that- just log your trips in the same calendar you use everyday, and you could win!

Rewards are based on how often you take transit:

  • Bronze Level  – 8 Trips (Avg. 1 round trip a week)
  • Silver  Level – 16 Trips (Avg. 2 round trips a week)
  • Gold Level – 24 Trips (Avg. 3 round trips a week)

Want even more chances to win? Follow Transportation Choices Coalition on Facebook and Twitter and use #RideTransit to access weekly prize drawings. Snap a picture of your favorite mode, share how transit helps you get around, or simply profess your love for public transportation!

BiketoWork

Bike Month Update

Thanks to all of you, our ETCs, that took the time to put together fantastic bicycling events! Over 1,000 of our employees participated at 25 worksite events throughout the county during the month of May. Participants received bike lights, maps and enjoyed refreshments.  Bike Month will come to a close with a raffle for a new Electric Bicycle courtesy of PIM Bicycles. The drawing for the winner will be conducted in the next week- stay tuned!

Keep the momentum going with support from PIM Bicycles. Let us know if you are interested in having PIM come out to your worksite for an electric bike demo, training/clinic, or mobile service and bike repair. We will work with you and PIM to coordinate.

CTR Survey Update

The CTR survey process is going great!  Thank you to each of our ETCs who took the time to send it out and ensure participation. Most of our worksites have finished their survey process.  The first batch of paper surveys has been delivered to the University of Washington for processing.  Closed electronic surveys have also been submitted for processing.

Survey results should begin coming in the end of June. Once we have information and reports we will share them with you. The CTR survey will give us information about how your employees get to work and report on how your worksite is progressing toward your CTR target to increase non-drive alone trips by 7% by June 30, 2019.
