Winter 2025

Happy New Year!

2025 Water

We wish you well! This time of year is a great time to make goals and plans for the year ahead. Including Healthy Actions in your plans can help keep your drinking water safe.

Healthy Actions:

  • Replace the water filter in the fridge (follow the manufacturer's recommendation).
  • Maintain water softeners and other water treatment systems.
  • Safely store potential pollutants at least 100 feet from any wells.
  • Inspect the visible parts of your well.
  • Measure and track the static water level in your well.
  • Schedule routine water quality testing for your well.
  • Schedule chloride and conductivity testing for April and August, if seawater intrusion monitoring is required.
  • Schedule an inspection for your septic system.
  • And update Water Facilities Inventory (WFI) reports.
