Assessment Updates
The time for the 2023 Community Health Assessment (CHA) is quickly approaching! CHA's identify key community health needs and issues through systematic, comprehensive data collection and analysis. The CHA provides a snapshot of the health of the community, which provides a means to prioritize the communities needs and the potential impact of a proposed intervention. The timeline below outlines the process of the Community Health Assessment (CHA). If you have questions or would like to know how to participate, please visit our website at this link or send email to our Assessment Team.

Healthy Communities Updates

HIYI coordinator, Liz Dickman, is collaborating with Island County Human Services to support the Boys & Girls Club in their efforts to extend opportunities to children and youth in our community to participate in extra curricular activities through the D.I.N.O. (Dabbling in New Opportunities) program. The goal of these opportunities is to provide prosocial opportunities for children and youth to develop: positive relationships, healthy lifestyle habits, positive norms; creating a path for a future free of risky behaviors, and positive interactions with parents and trusted adults.
