Draft Affordable Housing Strategy Info Sessions

Learn about the recommended updates in Bellevue's draft 2026-2032 Affordable Housing Strategy and how you can provide feedback. There are two options for attending an Information Session.

In person - Thursday, Feb. 26 | 5:30-7:30 p.m. | Bellevue City Hall
Virtual - Monday, March 2 | 6-7:30 p.m. | Zoom

The draft strategy was developed over the past 15 months with input from more than 650 residents and 60 organizations and will replace the city’s initial strategy adopted in 2017.

BelRed Look Forward Open House

Join us Monday, Feb. 23 at the Highland Community Center for an open house to explore proposed updates to the BelRed Land Use Code. Share your feedback on updates to the code that will be guide housing and job growth, transit-oriented development and the BelRed Arts District with the planning team. Drop in anytime, enjoy light refreshments and help shape the future of this vibrant neighborhood. Registration is encouraged. Review the draft code at BellevueWA.gov/belred-look-forward.

Housing in Mixed Use Areas (HOMA) update

The Housing in Mixed Use Areas (HOMA) amendment proposal includes higher density, taller buildings and updates to last use districts and maps to encourage more housing development in mixed-use areas in Bellevue. The city council will have a study session on the proposed updates on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Additional information, including a timeline of the project, informational materials and draft code language, is available at BellevueWA.gov/HOMA.
