Bellevue’s Code Compliance team works hard to keep our neighborhoods safe, welcoming and livable. They focus on education and fair enforcement to resolve issues like property maintenance and zoning concerns. While they handle many code-related matters, some issues fall outside the city’s enforcement process. If you’re unsure where to start, we’ve gathered resources to help you find the right information and support for housing and property questions. See the complete list of resources.
Winter brings frigid temperatures and, when temperatures plummet, the water that supplies your home's faucets and fixtures is in danger of freezing inside your pipes. Frozen pipes are prone to bursting, which can result in costly water leaks and plumbing repairs. At the highest risk of freezing are pipes that run against exterior walls and those in unheated or uninsulated places, such as the attic, basement or garage. Learn more about preventing frozen pipes from Bellevue Utilities.
The Utilities department offers bill assistance designed to assist low-income households with assistance accessing essential water services. Both short-term and long-term assistance is available for customers in the Bellevue Utilities service area directly billed by Bellevue Utilities. Read the full details.
