 Ongoing heavy rainfall and rising river levels have led to several road closures in and around Auburn. We want to make you aware of the current impacts so you can plan extra time and use alternate routes.
Current Road Closures
Green River Road SE

Green River Road SE is closed between 100th Ave SE and the Auburn city limits due to flooding.

There is currently no vehicle access to the Auburn Golf Course.

There is no estimated time for reopening.
D St NE
D St NE is closed in multiple segments due to standing water over the roadway:
Drivers should expect delays in this area and follow all posted detours. Local access is very limited.
S 277th St
Safety Reminders

Turn around, don’t drown. Never drive through standing or moving water. Just a few inches can sweep a vehicle off the road.

Do not go around “Road Closed,” “High Water,” or “Flooded” signs, and please do not move barricades.

Use higher, alternate routes whenever possible and allow additional travel time.
Reporting Issues & Getting Help

For non-emergency flooding issues (such as minor water over roads, blocked storm drains, or localized concerns), please use the SeeClickFix app, or call the City’s non-emergency line at 253-288-2121.

Call 911 immediately if there is any threat to life or safety, including rapidly rising water, vehicles stuck in floodwater, or other urgent emergencies.
