Parks After Dark Ad

PARKS AFTER DARK 

Drop your kids, ages 5-11, off at the Les Gove Gym for an evening of games, arts & crafts, sports, and a pizza dinner while you enjoy an adult night out! If registering online and wish to enter multiple siblings at a reduced price, please call our office at 253-931-3043. 

Select Saturdays | $34/$27 | 5-9pm | Drop-off program

  • October 18 | Neon Night Out | Join us for Haunted hide & seek, complete a candy scavenger hunt, enjoy neon face painting, and more! With glow sticks, bounce houses, gym play, games, and other exciting activities, there's fun for everyone!

Must register by Wednesday prior to Saturday event. Space is limited.

Hey Auburn teens! Join us for Late Nights @ the Rec every 3rd Friday of the month from 6-9pm!

Each night features something new—games, activities, music, open gym, arts & crafts, video games, and always great FREE FOOD! Open to grades 6–12.

Halloween Harvest Festival & Trunk-or-Treat

Saturday, Oct. 25 | 1-5 p.m.

Get ready for a fang-tastic fall afternoon full of frightful fun! Geared towards children ages 2-10, enjoy free unlimited access to spook-tacular games, creepy-cute crafts, the haunted BOO-seum, and a howling good Trunk-or-Treat stroll through Les Gove Park! Sink your teeth into tasty treats and delicious dinners from on-site food vendors available for purchase. This event is going down—rain or shine! Weather plans will be shared as we creep closer to October 25th. Your little goblin will not want to miss this event! Bring a non-perishable food donation for the Auburn Food Bank!

Les Gove Park, 910 Ninth Street SE

$16/person

The Almost 5K Glow Run & Walk is an easy run around Les Gove Park. This fun run will utilize the big loop at Les Gove Park. Five loops around is “almost” a 5K (short of a 5K by 1,138 feet). The Glow Run & Walk is perfect for all ages and abilities! Join us for this fun event as we gear up to glow as the days become shorter. Registration is $16 per person through October 30. T-shirt included with registration; size guaranteed through September 10. On-site registration is $22 per person. Register NOW

60th annual Veterans Parade & Observance

Saturday, November 8 | 11am

Main Street in downtown Auburn

One of the largest Veterans Parades in the country! The parade proceeds west on Main Street from E Street SE to A Street NW and will include flyovers, 15+ marching bands and several honor guards and ROTC units. Spectators will enjoy the military marching units and antique military vehicles. Spectators will also see community and scouting groups, motorcycle entries, classic cars and more. Highlights include the replica Nimitz aircraft carrier, the Huey helicopter fuselage and a PBR Boat, among others. The day kicks off with a Community Breakfast (7-9am) at the Auburn Senior Activity Center, followed by a Remembrance Ceremony (9:45am) at Veterans Memorial Park. Food vendors will be available during the parade from 10am-2pm. The Auburn Noon Lions Luncheon (1:30pm) follows the parade. The day is complete after the state’s largest Marching Band and Field Competition awards its winners at Auburn High School Stadium. Complete details at www.auburnwa.gov/vets.
