BIKING
Pedal power! This 4-week workshop will incorporate fun and games to learn to pedal a two-wheeler! Kids will start on balance bikes and work up to pedal bikes, practicing their skills in engaging activities that build confidence and skills. Bikes and helmets are provided. This class is held outdoors, dress for the weather.

KIDS PLAYTIME
Ages 2-10 | $10 for 2 hours of care | Auburn Community & Event Center Do you need a couple of hours to yourself, have an appointment, or want to meet up with a friend and do not have a sitter? We can help! Bring your child, ages 2-10 to our drop-in childcare program and we will keep them entertained and safe. All staff have undergone a National Background Check. Call the Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Office at 253-931-3043 for specific times and days. Times and days coordinate with fitness classes and may change quarterly. Staff are unable to change children’s clothing.

Perfect for beginners with no piano experience! Each 20-minute private lesson includes a provided piano and covers posture, technique, reading music, and performance basics.

Auburn's REC Teen Center is located at 910 9th Street SE in Les Gove Park. Open during the school year, the center operates Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Free transportation is provided by the Auburn School District from local middle and high schools.
The REC Teen Center re-opens September 8
Designed for students in grades 6–12, the REC offers a variety of fun activities including:
- Ping pong, foosball, air hockey, a teen lounge, and video games
- A gymnasium for drop-in basketball and volleyball

Late Night
Hey Auburn teens! Join us for Late Nights @ the Rec every 3rd Friday of the month, starting September 19! Each night features something new—games, activities, music, and always great food. Open to grades 6–12. Don’t miss the fun!
Teen Line Dancing with Buckle and Boot (Ages 12-16)

Rock Wall Now Booking Private Groups through September 28 Packages are designed for groups and families wanting to develop teambuilding skills and have fun in the bargain. This program will be customized to meet your groups' or families' individual needs. Perfect for teams, clubs, workplace training, youth groups, and especially families. The program will be customized at time of registration. All equipment, instruction and facilitation are provided. The following time blocks are available. Please call for available times.
FAMILY OPEN CLIMB
Bring the family to the wall for a full evening of rock climbing fun! This is a drop-in climbing opportunity all equipment, instruction and belayers will be provided. Pre-register to hold your spot. Day of registration is available. Ages 4 & up. Equipment and instruction is provided.

FAMILY ADVENTURES
Hop on your bike for this 18 mile Bike Adventure! We'll start at Hyak on Snoqualmie Pass and bike along Lake Keechelus before winding along Lake Easton where we'll re-fuel with a BBQ lunch. We'll provide the bikes, helmets, and lunch; you'll just need comfortable shoes and clothing for biking and the weather, and a water bottle.

Exhibition: UNPRECEDENTED: The Inaugural Postmark Biennial On Display through October 9, 2025
Postmark Center for the Arts and the White River Valley Museum are hosting a competitive juried biennial art exhibition, titled “Unprecedented: The Inaugural Postmark Biennial.” How is art informed by the exceptional moment in which we are living? Curated by two esteemed jurors, Ellen Ito and Jabari Owens-Bailey, this exhibition is seeking work from artists living and working in Washington state; Unprecedented is interested in highlighting creative explorations in all media created from 2020 to the present.

Our new series of hands-on workshops where toddlers and their adult caregivers team up to create unique projects, with a new theme each session! Tinker Tots: Creative Makerspace Adventures (ages 2-6 & adult) $53/$65 | Thursdays | 9:30-10:30am
This four-week class series offers young children and their adult caregivers a fun, interactive way to explore creativity together. Through hands-on, guided activities, children will develop fine motor skills, social skills, and early STEM concepts. Each class includes 30 minutes of story time, music, and other engaging activities, followed by 30 minutes of themed crafting in the Makerspace. Registration includes 1 adult per child.

Join us for a lively series of workshops where youth and their adult caregivers team up to explore new artistic mediums in a fun and supportive environment. Private Parties
Celebrate the season with a private craft class for just your family and friends! Party packages are available for youth and adults and custom projects are available. Party goers will enjoy private space to complete their project in the cozy holiday vibe of the Maker Space. Email makerspace@auburnwa.gov for sample projects and availability. Maker Space parties are a great option for office parties, a girls’ night out, kids birthday party, end of season team party and more! All instruction and supplies are provided. Parties are welcome to bring their own refreshments.

The Auburn Senior Activity Center enhances the quality of life of senior adults 50+ in the Auburn community through social, recreational, health and wellness, educational, and nutritional programs. The Center is located at 808 9th Street SE, Auburn. Center hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

DROP-IN CHILDCARE!
New hours for Drop-in Childcare are available now! Bring the kids to play while you use the Community Center Facilities. $4/session for drop in up to 2 hours of play or add on unlimited sessions to your fitness membership for $15/month/child. Ages 4 months-10 years; parents must remain onsite. Need to run errands or meet a friend for lunch? Drop off the kids for Kidz Playtime and enjoy up to 2 hours of free time. $10/child up to 2 hours. Children must be potty trained.

Geared towards children ages 2-10, enjoy free unlimited access to spook-tacular games, creepy-cute crafts, the haunted BOO-seum, and a howling good Trunk-or-Treat stroll through Les Gove Park! Sink your teeth into tasty treats and delicious dinners from on-site food vendors available for purchase. This event is going down—rain or shine! Get ready to party after the Glow Run with the first ever Family Glow Jam! Join the Parks team for a full night of family fun with glow games, inflatables, photo booth, a glow in the dark dance party and glow crafts. Wear white and dress in your best glow gear as we light up the Community Center! Discount available for all Glow Runners, Glow Run participation is not required for the Glow Jam. Dinner concessions are available for a fee.

Saturday, Nov. 8 | Parade at 11 a.m.
Main Street in Auburn
One of the largest Veterans Parades in the country! The parade proceeds west on Main Street from E Street SE to A Street NW in Auburn and will include flyovers, numerous marching bands and several honor guards and ROTC units. Spectators will enjoy the military marching units and antique military vehicles. A variety of veterans units are always crowd pleasers. Spectators will also see community and scouting groups, motorcycle entries, classic cars and more. The day kicks off with a Community Breakfast, followed by a Remembrance Ceremony. Food trucks and food vendors will be available during the parade from 10am-2:00pm. The Auburn Noon Lions Luncheon follows the parade. The day is complete after the state’s largest Marching Band and Field Competition awards its winners at Auburn High School Stadium.

Free Family Event! The Mary Olson Farm welcomes the salmon back to our stream! Observe spawning salmon, become a salmon scientist by engaging in water testing and habitat observation, and learn more about the role salmon play in the ecosystem. Presented in partnership with the Environmental Science Center.
