Get in the holiday spirit with cookie decorating, puppets, and ornaments! This indoor event is recommended for children ages 3 & up. The cost to participate is $3 in advance or $6 at the door. Santa's Workshop will be open for photos at 262 E Main Street from 2 PM - 3:45 PM. 

Fee to participate: $3 in advance / $6 at the door


Santa Parade

Main Street

Auburn's Lighted Santa Parade returns!  From Auburn High School to City Hall, lighted entries will fill Main Street with holiday joy! Beginning at 4:30 PM the parade will feature lighted vehicles, floats, cars, and walking entries. Join us for live music before and after the parade at City Hall. We'll wrap up the event with the annual tree lighting at City hall plus a visit from Santa.

REGISTER NOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE!
All community, families, non-profits, and businesses are welcome to participate. All entries wishing to participate in the parade must register in advance by Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

City Hall Plaza

Santa is looking for a special helper to light the tree in front of City Hall. Nominate a well-deserving child between the ages of 5 and 9 to be Santa's Helper on December 3rd. 

Nomination Form

Nominations will be open until November 30 at midnight. 

Please note, multiple nominations for the same child will only be entered once into the drawing. The winner will be selected at random by Mayor Backus.  

Santa will head to Auburn Downtown Cooperative's Santa Workshop at 262 E Main Street following the tree lighting from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM.

Join us for a holiday Breakfast with Santa!  
Breakfast will be served by Santa elves at 8:30am.  You will also enjoy special entertainment. 

The 11 AM breakfast is full and can no longer accept registrations. 

All Ages | Pre-registration is required | Space is limited

Children $9/$12 |  Adult $10/$13

Festival of Trees – Dreamscapes

The White River Valley Museum has your new holiday tradition! November 16th through December 30th, Wednesday through Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., catch the spirit of the season with a The Festival of Trees: Dreamscapes at the White River Valley Museum. The exhibit of dreamy trees decorated by arts and culture professionals.

In this family-friendly class you will learn how to transfer an image to a linoleum block, carve the block, and print your own handmade holiday cards! Get into the festive spirit and maybe start a new tradition by trying this simple and fun printing process. All materials for this class will be provided. Ages 12+.

Red, White & Blue Holiday Concert
Auburn Performing Arts Center, 702 4th St. NE

Sing in the holidays with this annual free community concert performed by America’s First I Corps Band. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear this festive concert of music honoring our troops, together with all of your favorite holiday music and carols. Tickets are free but required for admission and are available for pick-up at the Auburn Community & Event Center. Limit 6 per family.
