COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Create your own “Window Gallery” at home and share your pictures with us!
Stuck at home and wanting to brighten up your day? Try mixing 2/3 washable tempera paint, 1/3 dish soap, and a sprinkle of some flour to thicken it up, and you have your very own washable window paint! Try masking off an area with blue painter’s tape, and create your “Window Gallery” masterpiece to share with the community. SCULPTURE OF THE WEEK
Artist: MacRae Wylde Title: Truth Medium: Lacquered steel Location: E Main Street & Auburn Ave.
""Truth" the sculpture is a monument to the concept. It is a concept that applies across all boundaries. It cares not where you come from or who your parents were, it does not care what party you belong to or what group you are part of. Like the concept, "Truth" the sculpture will last forever, yet with neglect it will start to rust."
This sculpture is on display as a part of Auburn's 2020-21 Downtown Sculpture Gallery program. This sculpture, as well as 10 others, will be on view for the next year! Go to our website to vote for your favorite sculpture for this year's People's Choice Award!
