Calling all fans of Auburn Community Player productions!!! While we can't gather at the Auburn Avenue Theater just yet, the Auburn Community Players are planning a fun, holiday experience. 

This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

This will be a live online show. Once you have purchased a ticket you will receive a show link to view the show online. Purchase tickets online: $8 individual; $25 family.

Cogburn and his roost are built entirely from repurposed materials adding to his humble and approachable personality.  He is eager to share his roost with you and be in your next selfie!

This sculpture is on display as a part of Auburn's 2020-21 Downtown Sculpture Gallery program. This sculpture, as well as 10 others, will be on view for the next year! Go to our website to vote for your favorite sculpture for this year's People's Choice Award!

Resilience

The City of Auburn and the Auburn Arts Commission are pleased to present an art installation by Fumi Amano at Auburn’s Art on Main window-front gallery, on view October 17th, 2020 – January 3rd, 2021.

Through the mending of stained glass, Amano "explore the concept of rebuilding our broken world. A broken world that is the result of the current political climate and the COVID pandemic."

This video by the Seattle Art Museum will take you into the Asian Art Museum galleries and offer prompts for creating portraits of your own. Interview someone in your life and create a pair of portraits using pencil, paper, and collage materials.

Mary Olson Farm Artist in Residence

2021 Mary Olson Farm Artist in Residence

The Mary Olson Farm Artist in Residence provides the opportunity for an artist to pursue their work in, and to be inspired by, the unique and beautiful setting of the Mary Olson Farm in Auburn, Washington for two months in June and July. There is a $3,500 stipend for the selected artist.

Application Deadline: February 25, 2021 at 10:59pm Pacific Time
Eligibility: Pacific Northwest Individual artists or artist teams

Downtown Sculpture Gallery

2021-2022 Downtown Sculpture Gallery 

The Downtown Sculpture Gallery showcases new sculptures annually providing different public artwork for Auburn residents to experience and enjoy. Artwork is on display for one year, September-September, and selected artists receive an $1,000 stipend.

Eligibility: Pacific Northwest artists

Home for the Holidays with Auburn Symphony Orchestra is an evening of musical favorites, storytelling, and more hosted by Music Director Wesley Schulz. The program will be
available to stream for free beginning December 3 at 7:30 pm on ASO’s website and will remain available through January 3.
