COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

  • Kids Quarantine Art Show - What fun art projects have your talented kids created at home? Share with us, Auburn!
  • Have you heard of Geocaching? It's a high-tech treasure hunt using GPS, smart phones or tablets. There's over 900 hidden caches in Auburn! If you're up for a family challenge, try our Valley Cities Geotour. Find 10 caches each in Auburn, Kent, Renton and Maple Valley and receive a coin (while supplies last).
Dykstra Footbridge

IN & AROUND AUBURN

  • Have you ever walked the Footbridge from Dykstra Park over the Green River to Isaac Evans Park? In our current times, the playgrounds are closed, but there are great trails to enjoy, while still being able to follow social distance guidelines!
  • Explore the White River Valley Museum with Mini Field Trips. Featuring Part 1 this week: Settler Life

The City of Auburn continues to take steps to limit the spread of the disease and are taking proactive measures to protect the health and safety of the Auburn community.

PARKS & TRAILS

PARKS and TRAILS where social distancing can be maintained remain OPEN.

Additionally, the AUBURN GOLF COURSE and GAME FARM WILDERNESS DISC GOLF are OPEN

Please only do outdoor activities with people in your immediate household (not extended families). Do outdoor activities close by your home. If you encounter others, maintain a minimum of 6-feet distance.

Please note that all  AUBURN PARK PLAYGROUNDS & ACTIVE RECREATION AREAS continue to be CLOSED. This includes playground equipment, sports courts (tennis, basketball, pickleball), baseball fields, mod-soccer fields, skate parks, and picnic shelters. All recreation areas where it could be difficult to maintain recommended social distancing guidelines. Outdoor RESTROOMS are CLOSED. Park users are encouraged to GO before you GO to a park.
