Last chance to pre-register for the Petpalooza 3K/5K Dog Trot on Saturday, May 19 at Game Farm Park

Registration for Auburn’s 3K/5K Dog Trot Fun Run is currently underway. 

Registration is $23 and runs through May 16. (Sorry, no registrations accepted May 17 & 18). On-site registrations will be $25. T-Shirt is included with all early registrations and will be available on a limited basis for late and on-site registrants.

Dog Trot is a family-oriented fun run event that takes place prior to Petpalooza at Game Farm Park, 3030 R. Street SE. Participants will follow a 3K or 5K route. The course is flat, easy and enjoyable for all ages. Water will be available on the course for both dogs and human participants. Back again this year, Auburn’s Dog Trot will offer ‘chip’ timing, allowing participants the most accurate finish time. Check-in for the Dog Trot begins the morning of the event at 8:00am.

We have a newer online registration system – if you have participated in DOG TROT in the past two years, you likely have a account in the new registration system and the email used for this message is your login. If it’s been while, you can easily create a new account. To register using the new system, simply follow these steps to access your account:

Step 1: Visit Auburn at Play Online

Step 2: Choose the blue SIGN IN button

Step 3: In the "Already Have an Account Box", select “Forgot My Password” and simply follow the prompts on the screen to gain access to your account through this new system. Then you’ll be all set to start registering for programs, reviewing your account information and using all the features of the new system.

After the run, make plans to join us at the 11th annual Petpalooza festival! Petpalooza features live & animal entertainment on the Tractor Supply Company stage, MudBay’s Northwest Pet Contest, a free agility area, All-Alaskan Racing Pigs presented by Verity Credit Union, pony rides and State Farm's 15'x50' petting zoo, face painting, a food court and beer garden, over 150 vendors and much more - there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained.  Petpalooza is held from 10am – 5pm at Game Farm Park in Auburn.

Looking for another run? As part of AuburnFest , we will be hosting a Friday night Almost 5K Poker Fun Run & Walk , at Les Gove Park on Friday, August 10, starting at 7:00pm.  The race takes place prior to the Summer Sounds & Cinema concert and outdoor movie event. Food options and a beer garden will be available for purchase in the park after the race. Register for this fun run before July 29th at the discounted price of $20 (includes t-shirt).
