The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) is undergoing rulemaking for Chapter 16-202 of the Washington Administrative Code (WAC 16-202). As WSDA looks to revise and modernize the rules governing chemigation and fertigation, we invite feedback and participation from growers, industry, and other interested organizations and people who would like their opinions and concerns considered when crafting these rules.
To facilitate this, WSDA intends to have two rounds of online review and listening sessions. The first round will consist of four, two-hour sessions where the initial draft of the rule changes will be discussed in sections. These sessions will take place via TEAMS on various days and times to allow several opportunities for interested parties to participate. These four sessions of the first round will cover identical material and attendance at all four is not necessary.
