Computer-based testing is now available!
WSDA has contracted with Metro Institute to administer pesticide licensing exams at professional testing centers across the state through a computer-based platform. Paper-based testing will continue to be available for some time.
31 of Washington’s pesticide licensing exams are available through computer-based testing, six of which are also available in Spanish.
The only exams not yet available through this platform are the two required to obtain the Structural Pest Inspector license for complete wood-destroying organism inspections.
Computer-based testing is offered at the following locations:
- Bellingham - Whatcom Community College
- College Place - Walla Walla University
- Ellensburg - Central Washington University
- Liberty Lake - Tactix of Liberty Lake
- Longview - Lower Columbia College
- Renton - Renton Technical College Testing Center
- Tacoma - Tacoma Community College
- Yakima - Yakima Valley College
Reminder!
The pilot project for posting of pass/fail exam results for paper-based testing is concluding. The last exam sessions for which results will be posted are the July 30, 2024 Yakima and Olympia testing sessions.
