South Burlington’s Actions Support State’s Efforts to Meet Housing Goals
South Burlington has been at the forefront of planning in Vermont in the 21st Century. In that time, the community has established the first new downtown in the state in over a century, stood up the first stormwater utility to tackle water quality and flood resiliency, invested in open space, recreation, shared use paths, and advanced traffic control systems, and taken strides to tackle housing affordability and climate change.
