Early Voting Ends
In-person: early voting at City Hall ends at noon on March 3.
Absentee: ballots can be placed in the drop box at City Hall through March 4 at 4:30 pm.

Town Meeting Day Voter Information
Tuesday, March 4, 2025
Polls are open from 7 am to 7 pm. Ballots are not accepted after the polls have closed.
How to Cast Your Ballot
In-person: at your polling location.
Absentee: You can bring your ballot to your polling location between 7 am and 7 pm. You can also bring your ballot to City Hall until 4:30 pm.
Note: the South Burlington City Clerk’s Office will be closed all day March 4.

Town Meeting TV’s "Town Meeting Day 2025" Election Results Show
Beginning at 7 pm on Tuesday, March 4th, South Burlington residents can tune in to Town Meeting TV’s "Town Meeting Day 2025" Election Results Show for real-time election coverage. The show will air live on Comcast channel 1087, Burlington Telecom channel 217, and on YouTube at www.YouTube.com/TownMeetingTV.
Viewers can also track real-time election results using Town Meeting TV's interactive Election Results Module at results.townmeeting.tv.

City Clerk's Office Hours
Monday, March 3, 2026 | Closing at Noon
The City Clerk's Office will close at noon on Monday, March 3. After noon, in-person early voting will no longer be available.
Tuesday, March 4, 2025 | Closed
The City Clerk's Office will be closed Tuesday, March 4. Residents can still drop off absentee ballots at City Hall until 4:30 pm or bring them to their polling location.

South Burlington FY26 City Budget
The FY26 City Budget...
Continues our commitment to service delivery with a focus on community affordability
- Provides for the current level of service delivery
- Maximizes non-property-tax revenue by aggressively budgeting for Local Option Tax and interest earned income and reviewing fee structures
- Is sensitive to the property tax impacts from the State Education Fund and limits municipal property tax impact
Continues investments in Public Safety
- Addresses State funding changes and strengthens public safety tools
- Invests in our Community Outreach Team and Community Justice Center
- Increases funding for road line striping, sidewalk improvements, and paving
Supports City Center vibrancy
- Opens the Library on Sundays
- Funds the South Burlington City Center Collaborative
Continues commitment to addressing climate change
- Increases commitment to Green Mountain Transit to meet climate and transit goals
- Provides $345K in funding for capital work related to addressing climate change
This budget will result in a 3.33% increase to the municipal property tax rate. If approved, the average annual impact to a condo owner will be $56.53 and the average annual impact to a homeowner will be $83.59.

South Burlington FY24 Annual Report
South Burlington’s FY24 Annual Report is now online and available for review. The Annual Report covers the City’s Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024), which saw the adoption of City Plan 2024, the growth of City Center, and investments in infrastructure and public safety. We encourage you to read the detailed reports from City departments, committees, and partner organizations to learn about the services provided to South Burlington residents.
