First South Burlington Energy Festival a Success
  The first ever South Burlington Energy Festival was held on Saturday, September 30. At least 500 folks came to enjoy the festivities on a beautiful, sunny day. The event was organized by South Burlington Energy Committee in support of the City’s Climate Action Plan.
The Engine Inside - Local Motion Free Screening October 14th
 Join Local Motion and Old Spokes Home for a free screening of The Engine Inside, October 14th at 7:00 p.m. at the Film House at Main Street Landing. The Engine Inside follows six everyday people from vastly different worlds who dedicate their lives to a simple, 200-year-old machine.

 The Friends of the South Burlington Public Library group is celebrating 50 years! Since 1973, this quiet adjunct to the Library has been at work behind the scenes, actively supporting the staff, programs, events, and mission of the Library.
Community Pumpkin Carving
October 27th | 6:00–8:00 p.m. | SB Senior Center
You will want to be sure to come join our Community Pumpkin Carving event. This year it will take place in the Senior Center at City Hall, 180 Market Street, on Friday, October 27th from 6:00–8:00 p.m. You can bring your pumpkin(s) with you and we’ll supply all of the tools. Even better, you’ll leave the mess with us! This is a fun activity to do as you gather with other families in this fantastic space while you get into the spirit of Halloween.
No registration required.
Community Glow Walk
 October 28th | 6:00–8:00 p.m. | Market St. Stormwater Pond
Due to its immense popularity, we are excited to share that our Community Glow Walk will be back for its 4th year and will be even bigger and better. This event will once again take place around the stormwater pond on Market Street. We'll be handing out glow necklaces to the first 400 kids. Gather your costume and be sure to mark Saturday, October 28th from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on your calendar.
