Lets Make A Plan!
 Planners and engineers from South Burlington, Burlington, and UVM using the Library Community Room to collaborate on projects in the area.
 For teens ages 13 - 18. Meet in the Teen Space on Monday, July 24 at 2:00 pm.
Help your neighbors in need by putting together Community Care Kits with back-to-school items, soap, toothpaste, feminine products, and other toiletries. All kits will be donated to COTS: Committee on Temporary Shelter.
 SBPL staff will host a table at SB Nite Out on 7/27 and 8/24. Visit us at the library table and where we look forward to meeting members of the community while we promote eBike lending at the library and Back to School events for kids and teens.
Spanish for Kids
Ages 6 Months - 5 Years
 Join us for Citas del Juego! Sing and play in Spanish with Lanie and her son Wesley! Just right for Spanish speakers and learners. No experience necessary. For ages 6 months to 5 years with an adult caregiver. No pre-registration necessary. Wednesdays, 10-10:30 am.

Whether you’re a seasoned camper or want to try camping for the first time! We would like to have you and your family join us for an overnight at Veterans Memorial Park!
Get ready to kick off National Parks & Recreation Month by getting OUT and joining us for our 4th Annual SB Community Campout Event. Thousands of people across the nation will gather in their backyards, neighborhoods, communities and parks to take part in an annual event that provides a fun-filled evening for all generations to get outside and connect with nature. Set up camp, play family games, have a campfire to roast those marshmallows and enjoy a Movie in the Park! We'll not only tire the kids out, but the parents too!

SB Nite Out has become one of our most anticipated community events. In its 7th year, friends, family, and neighbors spend evenings in the park - listening to live music, enjoying different cuisines. Held on Thursday evenings, in late-June, July & August, you will find some of the best food trucks and local bands. This year's lineup is sure to be a fun one. Don't miss it! Dates & Bands

Chittenden County Regional Partners Relaunch Eco-Friendly Bikeshare System
 The Chittenden Area Transportation Management Association (aka CATMA) and Bird, a leader in environmentally friendly electric transportation, are teaming up to bring a shared electric assist bike system to the region. As part of a longstanding commitment to expand affordable, sustainable transportation choices, CATMA along with the cities of Burlington, South Burlington and Winooski, and its institutional partners at the University of Vermont (UVM), Champlain College and the UVM Medical Center, are thrilled to have the Bird bikeshare system in the community.
