 The South Burlington Climate Action Plan was adopted in October 2022…Now what? The Climate Action Implementation Plan for the Transportation Sector is underway, and we need your input! The 2030 goals for transportation and land use include electrifying vehicles, reducing the amount of driving, and shifting towards dense mixed-use development. Long Time Library Volunteer Awarded the Green Mountain Award!
 The Vermont Library Association has selected South Burlington resident, Eileen Forrester, to be this year’s volunteer of the year. Eileen was nominated by the Library Director, Jennifer Murray, to acknowledge her dedication to volunteering for 18.5 years and her enthusiasm and hard work in moving the library, not once, but twice!
Getting to Know Your Veterans
 Earlier this month the library celebrated Veterans with a panel discussion and a Vets Town Hall. Both events gave Vets a chance to talk about their experiences and interested community members an opportunity to listen. Pictured is SB resident Bruce Boozan, a speaker at The Vets Town Hall.

AARP Tax Aide - Clinics at SB Senior Center AARP Tax Aide is here until April 7. AARP tax aide is a free service sponsored by AARP, you do not need to be a member and it is open to anyone.  Our diverse offerings include STEAM Studio, Med School, Lego Engineering, Pottery, Chess and Rocketry. For those looking for something more active you might consider Baseball, Disc Golf, Fishing, Flag Football, Soccer Sparks or Tennis. Additionally, our Youth Track & Field, Tykes/Kinderpro Track programs all begin in June. We will also be continuing our partnership with The Edge to offer group swim lessons throughout the summer. Come join us!
