Rotary Ugly Sweater Run Sunday Dec 1st!
It’s almost that time of the year again! From dancing snowmen to dangling jingle bells, those once-fashionable-now-outrageous sweaters have made a comeback! The Rotary Club of South Burlington Ugly Sweater Fun Run is back! Once again get together for an event filled with FUN and SMILES. “Not on the RUNway, but in a FUN way!” -- at the Rotary Club of South Burlington’s 6th Annual ‘Ugly Sweater Fun Run & Walk’ being held, at the Fredrick H. Tuttle Middle School in South Burlington. The event is scheduled from 10am – 1pm.

On Thursday, November 9th several members of the South Burlington Police Department had yet another important and intriguing conversation with Dr. Avila around bias, equity, cultural competence and community as we continue the work to best serve everyone in South Burlington and Vermont. There is always more work to do and we’re thankful to have community partners by our side.

Join a Petra Cliffs Nature Educator on a tour of Red Rocks Park in South Burlington. From wolf trees to glacial erratics, and from well trod hiking trails to fern-filled cliff sides, Red Rocks Park is a stellar example of the interesting geology and ecology found right here in South Burlington. This program will talk about the natural history of the area as well as how to identify trees. Tree ID in winter is extra tricky without the aid of the leaves so learn tree ID using bark, twigs, and growth form to identify.

Reminder - Wednesday and Friday lunches must be pre-registered for in advance. Sign up by the Friday before a meal.

We are hosting a Freebie Day at the Senior Center. Drop off your items that you want to donate on Friday, December 2 between 2 pm and 4 pm.
Come back on Saturday, December 3 from 10 am-1 pm to browse and shop for items for free.
