Healthy Families at ReadyKids is a home visiting program for families expecting a baby or who have a newborn. All services are provided free of charge. No documentation or income information is required, and there are no income limits!
The program serves families in Charlottesville, Albemarle, Nelson, and Buckingham. Healthy Families partners with caregivers to support overall family functioning, strengthen parent–child interaction, and promote healthy child development through regular home visits.
Although services typically begin during pregnancy or in the newborn period, support can continue until the child enters full-time preschool or reaches age five.
