Virginia Immunization Information System
Vaccine orders (non-flu) are required to be submitted through the Vaccine Ordering Management System (VOMS) in the new Virginia Immunization Information System (VIIS), which launched June 24, 2025. Paper and VERIP orders will no longer be accepted. Contact VAIIS.Helpdesk@stchome.com for assistance with your account (VIIS Access & User Account Assistance) or VIISINFO@vdh.virginia.gov (VIIS Access, User Account Access & VIIS Training). Flu requests can be submitted to vvfc@vdh.virginia.gov, or noted in the Comments section in VOMS.

Hepatitis B Vaccines Through VFC
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ (ACIP) recommendations from December 2025have not been officially adopted as the updated Hepatitis B VFC Program resolution. Until then, the currently posted VFC resolution continues to guide vaccine schedules and intervals for participating providers. Once the resolution is formally adopted and posted, we will communicate with all VFC Providers. Please note that the Hepatitis B birth dose remains available through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program.

Ecoflex Cooler Returns
Ecoflex Coolers need to be returned to Cold Chain Technologies via UPS. DO NOT call McKesson or UPS to schedule a pickup. A prepaid UPS return label is included on the inner flap of each EcoFlex cooler. Give the box to any UPS driver or drop it at a UPS drop box or facility as soon as possible. Due to their cost, the return of the cooler to Cold Chain Technologies is critical.
Adult & Child Immunization Schedules
Immunize.org updated four patient handouts summarizing immunization schedules for babies, children, and teens. The updates were made to advise parents to talk with their child's healthcare provider about COVID-19 vaccination.
Updated handouts include:
Immunizations for Babies
Vaccinations for Infants and Children, Age 0–10 Years
Vaccinations for Preteens and Teens
When Do Children and Teens Need Vaccinations
