We share with mixed emotions that Kandi Chamberlain, our VA-SORH Rural Health Manager, has accepted a new position with another state entity. Kandi has been a bright light within our team—a passionate advocate for rural health and a dedicated champion for helping others.
Her collaborative spirit, enthusiasm, and drive will be greatly missed, and we wish Kandi all the best in this next chapter of her career.

VDH - CME Module - Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention: Blood Lead Testing and Case Management
The Virginia Department of Health Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program has developed a FREE, asynchronous CME module on childhood lead poisoning prevention in partnership with the Medical Society of Virginia. This educational activity aims to improve provider knowledge and self-efficacy across all aspects of childhood lead poisoning prevention. Learners will earn one credit hour of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
