Prepare for VIIS Launch with Comprehensive Training and Resources |

 Dear VIIS Users,
The Division of Immunization (DOI) is launching the new Virginia Immunization Information System (VIIS) this June. This platform will enhance immunization management for healthcare providers and promote the health and well-being of all Virginians. To support a smooth transition, comprehensive training will be provided to all VIIS users. Continue reading for what to expect, training timeline, and how to access training.

What to Expect During the Training Phase
VIIS users will have online access to the Virginia Learning Management System (LMS) for all training materials and resources. The training will be self-paced, allowing flexibility and thorough understanding of the new system. Support resources, such as quick reference guides and training videos, will be available in the LMS.

How to Access Trainings
✅ On April 14, 2025, the Virginia LMS will be available for current VIIS users to register and begin training. Look out for an email from Virginia’s LMS (noreply@tovutimail.com) that will include a link and a unique login to create your account.
✅ To ensure you do not miss this email, please add noreply@tovutimail.com to your contact list to avoid it landing in your junk folder.
✅ To receive your new VIIS credentials, you must pass all the assigned training course assessments with a minimum score of 75% to demonstrate proficiency.

✅VIIS users will receive further communications about training opportunities and necessary actions for a smooth transition.
✅Watch a short video introducing the new VIIS platform, highlighting key features and benefits.
✅STC Training Services will be contracted to manage the LMS training program in coordination with the Virginia Department of Health VIIS team. For technical questions on the VIIS platform, contact the VIIS Help Desk at VIIS_Helpdesk@vdh.virginia.gov.
