Little Seedlings Camp - ‘Water, Water Everywhere!’
This week-long camp is designed for kids to discover the outdoors one mud puddle, bird sound, or quiet step in the forest at a time. The flow of each day will include morning circle, music, storytelling and movement, a nature walk, art activity, and a picnic lunch before pick up at 1pm. Children will learn how to work within a group of peers, enhance listening skills with music exercises, and do hands on crafts, and nature exploration with skilled teachers. Please pack a bagged lunch, water bottle, and extra change of clothes for your child/ren each day. Children must be potty trained in order to attend this program. Instructor: Samantha Campbell of ‘Hey Ho Let’s Grow’. Ages 3-5. MHPA, 9am-1pm, Monday - Friday. Price: $150/week

X-Mas in July @ Gypsy Hill Park Pool

It is never too early to enjoy the holidays. Join us as we celebrate our 4th Annual Christmas in July! Festivities include: A visit from Santa, a Christmas Crafts opportunity, and other Winter themed pool activities. Who knows, maybe a Snowball Fight might even happen! Enjoy listening to Christmas music and be free to wear your own holiday outfits to the pool. FREE admission!
Intermediate Rock Climbing and Rappelling in the George Washington Ntl. Forest
This full day of rock climbing and rappelling is a “next step” for individuals who have participated in one of our Beginner Rock Climbing days in the past or climb regularly at an indoor rock gym. We will spend a full day of climbing, belaying and rappelling on some more challenging routes. Ages 12 and older (teens may attend unaccompanied, but their transportation must be provided by a parent or guardian). All technical gear is provided; a personal suggested clothing list and the Medical Form/Participant Agreement will be supplied by WILD GUYde Adventures after registration. Explorers Club
Who wants to have some fun? Join the Explorers Club for new experiences, visiting exciting sites or having a great outdoor adventure. Let your child become a young adventurer with monthly journeys to a variety of locations. The Explorers Club will have planned trips from July-November. Ages 5 and under (parents must remain present on all adventures). Trips held 10am-noon on the third Friday of each month. Price: $10 for the season. Register anytime!
Soap Making W/ Simone and Tuesday
Be a maker! Learn to create your own natural soap during this sensory experience in the lost art of soap making. Attend on your own or make it an event for family, friends or dates. All ingredients and supplies will be provided by Simone & Tuesday. You will leave this work shop with 5 bars of your own, handmade soap. All Ages (Children must be supervised and good listeners to ensure a safe and fun experience) Instructor: Simone McKelvey of Simone & Tuesday. GHPGC, 1:30pm-3pm, July 27. Price: $40. LET’S GO SHOPPING! Apple Blossom Mall is an indoor shopping area with over 60 stores, specialty merchants and restaurants. Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Riverside Center

General Pool Rules: • Outside food and drink are welcome, however glass containers are prohibited. • Smoking, and alcoholic beverages are not allowed inside the pool fence. • Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult (18+) to the pool. Any non-swimming child must be accompanied by an adult in the water. • Any inappropriate language or behavior will result in dismissal from the pool for the day.
Gypsy Hill Golf Course
The City maintains an 18-hole, par 71 municipal golf course in Gypsy Hill Park that is open to members as well as nonmembers year round. The course boasts the most affordable rates in the Shenandoah Valley.
