  Need to terminate your coverage?
It is important to note that if you need to voluntarily terminate your coverage this must be completed by the Virginia Insurance Marketplace, and it cannot be completed directly through your insurance carrier.
To submit a termination, you will either need to contact the Consumer Assistance Center at1-888-687-1501 or you can do this by logging into your account by using the steps below:
Once logged into account:
- Select enrollment tab and scroll down to enrollment needing to be terminated.
- Select Disenrollment Option
- Consumer selects either “Disenroll from Health Plan” or “Disenroll from Dental Plan” button.
- Choose Member to Disenroll
- Consumer selects the member they wish to disenroll.
- Click "Continue" to proceed.
- Provide Reason for Disenrollment
- The system prompts the consumer to select a reason for disenrollment.
- After selecting the reason, click "Continue."
- Select Termination Date
- Consumer chooses from three available termination date options.
- Click "Continue."
- Confirm Termination
- Review the termination details.
- Once confirmed, disenrollment is finalized.
To verify your disenrollment, you can confirm the termination status under "My Enrollment" in their portal.
