Leesburg Police Arrest Man Following Road Rage Incident Involving Weapon
Leesburg, VA (December 29, 2025) – The Leesburg Police Department responded to a reported road rage incident involving a weapon earlier today.
At approximately 7:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Lawson Road SE and Trailview Boulevard SE for a reported road rage incident. The investigation determined the incident involved two vehicles. During the encounter, one driver exited his vehicle armed with a machete, approached the other vehicle, and struck the passenger-side window, causing it to shatter, before leaving the scene.
As a result of the investigation, Qadishtu Immiatiratu, 44, of Leesburg, was taken into custody and charged with assault and brandishing a weapon. Immiatiratu was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
