Town Announces New Community Meeting: Inside Leesburg

The first meeting will take place on Thursday, October 23 at 6 p.m.

Leesburg, VA (October 7, 2025) – The Town of Leesburg is launching a new community meeting, Inside Leesburg, a town hall–style event designed to give residents a closer look at how their town operates, the services it provides, and the resources available to them.

Held twice a year, Inside Leesburg is designed to keep the community informed and connected. Each session will provide a brief overview of services offered by Town departments, cover important topics such as snow emergency routes and how to apply for permits, and share useful community resources from Loudoun County.

Led by the Town’s Assistant Public Information Officer, Leah Kosin, Inside Leesburg is intended to be an open, welcoming, and informative event for all residents and business owners.

“We share a lot of news, but not everyone always gets the full picture of how the Town operates,” Kosin said. “Inside Leesburg is one more opportunity for us to provide a comprehensive overview of Town services and help everyone feel truly at home in Leesburg.”

Each session will cover the same core information while allowing attendees the chance to better understand the resources and services available to them.

Key Town staff members will also be in attendance to answer questions and provide additional information following the presentation, giving attendees a chance to engage directly with the people who manage Town operations and services.

In addition, a recently published Resident Guide will be available for attendees to take home as a valuable reference. Other Town materials will be available, including the Town’s Fiscal Year 2025 Annual Report, Recycle Coach information, the Citizens Emergency Preparedness Guide, and Utility department handouts.

The first session will take place on Thursday, October 23, at 6 p.m. in Lower-Level Conference Room 2 at Leesburg Town Hall, 25 West Market Street. A future session will occur in the spring.
