Leesburg, VA (June 3, 2025) – The Leesburg Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection with an early morning armed robbery that occurred at the Sheetz convenience store located at 915 Edwards Ferry Road NW.
At approximately 3:35 a.m. this morning, Leesburg Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Sheetz store. Two male suspects entered the business and demanded money from the clerk. One of the suspects implied he was armed with a firearm. The pair fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Through swift investigative efforts, detectives were able to identify both suspects, and warrants were obtained shortly thereafter.
At approximately 9:27 a.m., Leesburg Police officers observed the suspects in the unit block of Plaza Street NE, and they were taken into custody without incident.
Fidel Ordonez Molina, age 19, and Jose A. Rosa Munoz, age 19, both of Leesburg, were each charged with one count of robbery using a firearm and one count of violent activities while wearing a mask. Ordonez Molina was additionally charged with one count of larceny. Both were transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where they are being held without bond.
In May 2025, two additional armed robberies were reported, and those cases remain under investigation:
• On May 8 at approximately 3:47 a.m., a robbery occurred at the Sheetz located at 915 Edwards Ferry Road NW.
• On May 18 at approximately 1:10 a.m., a robbery occurred at the Sheetz located at 601 California Drive NE.
